Blessed Carlo Acutis is taken from a larger sanctuary mural commissioned by Fr. Robert Clements for the All Saints Catholic Newman Center at Arizona State University. The original depiction of Blessed Acutis sits in the context of an entire program of mural work which covers the interior of the All Saints Newman Center Chapel.
The mural work and painted decoration of the chapel radiantly reveal the church building as entirely sacramental - making present to the senses, so that when we enter the chapel and celebrate Mass, we leave the fallen world and enter into the Heavenly Jerusalem.
